Trips vs. Straight

Calum Grant

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

In a raised pot between the blinds, there was 64,000 in the middle on the 7♥5♠4♣ flop.

Nyuli Tibor checked from the small blind, and called when Gabriel Martini Nobrega made it 20,000 from the big blind.

Tibor did the same for 52,000 on the 7♠ turn before the 10♠ river checked through to showdown.

Tibor tabled A♦7♣ for trip sevens, but was beaten by the 8♣6♣ held by Nobrega, which was good for a straight.
