Chobineh Runs into a Set

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Bahram Chobineh limped in from under the gun. Akihiro Konishi and Yassine Adib also called from the cutoff and button. Oliver Heidel checked his option in the big blind.

On the J86 flop, Chobineh bet 125,000 before Konishi made it 525,000. Adib and Heidel folded. Chobineh then shoved for around 920,000 and was snap-called.

Medesan Folds to River Shove

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Alain Medesan
Alain Medesan

Alain Medesan kicked things off with a raise from under the gun to 100,000. Alessandro Siena in the small blind thought it over, burning one time bank card, before folding. Danilo Velasevic in the big blind called, and both went to see the 7K9 flop.

Velasevic checked, Medesan continued for 80,000, and Velasevic raised to 280,000. Medesan answered with a three-bet to 880,000, and Velasevic called.

The 2 turn saw Velasevic fire another 500,000, and Medesan called after some thought.

On the 8 river, Velasevic shoved for about 1,000,000, but Medesan folded, showing his set with 77 and telling Siena, "You would have been dead if you had shoved," assuming he was thinking about going all in preflop.

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Nizar Comaty moved all in for 225,000 from the button. Vasileios Panagiotidis reluctantly called from the big blind.

Vasileios Panagiotidis: 98

"Ten is good," said Panagiotidis, picking up a gutshot on the J73 flop. The 6 turn gave him four more outs to the straight, but the 8 river gave Comaty the checkmark.

Elsewhere, Yassine Adib was all-in for his last 360,000 from the big blind. He was at risk to Michael McNicholas, who was on the button.

Michael McNicholas: 5x5x

Adib held to double following the K10K34 runout.
