The board read A♣J♥K♠Q♣ with around 600,000 in the pot. Both blinds checked to Sonny Franco on the button, who bet 365,000, and both players made the call.

When the 7♥ hit the river, all three players checked.

Alexandre Bermon in the big blind showed J♣5♣ for a missed flush draw and a pair of jacks. Danilo Velasevic in the small blind tabled K♣9♣, also missing the flush but holding the better pair with a king. Franco’s hand went into the muck, and Velasevic took down the pot.
