Nikolay Evdakov
Nikolay Evdakov

Russian Nikolay Evdakov picked up the nickname "The Roach" at the WSOP a couple of years back after amassing a record ten cashes. Opponents found it near impossible to "kill" him off. This record hasn't helped him tonight though as he's one of our earliest bust-outs.

He and two opponents saw a {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} flop and when O. Kristoffersen led for 2,000 the Russain moved all-in after some thought. The third party folded but Kristoffersen made a quick call. Showdown:

Evdakov: {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for top pair and second nut flush draw.
Kristoffersen: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{4-Clubs} for top set.

The {5-Hearts} turn ended the hand as it filled up Kristoffersen.
