Alfonso Far So Good

And Barny Boatman, mainly, is on the negative end of Alfonso Amendola's chip gain. A big bet into a big pot just now sent Amendola into the tank for a while, in full bridge-of-nose rubbing mode on the river of a {6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}...{5-Hearts} board. The pot of 3,200 was enough to accommodate Boatman's move in for 2,800 on the river, and this was what Amendola was giving some thought. During the pause, Boatman actually threw over his 4k rebuy lammer at the dealer (gently) - who knows if Amendola took this into account when he called, finally, showing just {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds} and sort of flicking the other two cards face down.

Boatman shook his head and mucked, receiving his rebuy, but not before double checking the full winning hand. The others were {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Boatman muttered something like, "That's what I thought...on the flop," or similar before returning attention to the next hand rather than dwelling on the last.
