Some Laydown

Justin Smith just made what only can be described as a great lay down in a pot that took 20 minutes to play out. Four players limped to see a {9-Spades}{a-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop where Smith led for 7,500, called only by Jeff Madsen. The turn came {8-Spades} and Smith led for 18,800 after two minutes thought. Madsen called to see the {3-Hearts} turn where he faced a 34,000 bet from Smith. Smith took after two minutes to make that bet but Madsen took half the time before quietly announcing "All-in" for 59,500.

"Wow, you really have {6-Spades}{7-Spades}?" said Smith. Smith was getting a great price on the call but after thinking for ten minutes he folded then asked Madsen "Can you show? I'll owe you one." Madsen table the {6-Spades}{7-Spades} for the bottom end of the straight flush. Smith said he had {a-Spades}{j-Spades} and everyone believed him after tanking so long and the speech he have. He's left with 35,000 now where Madsen is up to 155,000.
