Farazed Out

An interesting hand developed as Bryn Kenny made a minimum raise to 2,000 from under the gun, only to receive three callers in Faraz Jaka (UTG+1), Markus Golser (cut-off), and JC Tran (button).

With so much money in the pot, this seemed like the perfect opportunity for John Eames to raise to 30,000 from the small blind, virtually setting himself all in with just 1,500 behind.

Although Kenny immediately released his hand, the action ground to a halt on Jaka. After sizing up his option, Jaka moved in for little more, triggering folds from Golser and Tran.

"I hope you have {A-}{Q-}," willed Eames as he flipped {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} onto the felt. His wish, however, was not granted as Jaka revealed {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}.

On this occasion, the coin was buttered Eames' side as the {3-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop brought a bullet to shoot Jaka's pair down. The {10-Spades} turn and {4-Spades} changed nothing, and Eames doubled through.

Down to just 3,800, Jaka was all in on the following hand, and didn't live to tell the tale.
