Timoshenko Outkicks Le; Le Not Quite Kicked Out

Nam Le opened to 5,800 in the cutoff and got a slow and silent call from Yevgeniy Timoshenko on the button.

Le bet out 6,600 on the {4-Clubs}{a-Spades}{k-Clubs} flop and after just a second Timoshenko called to see a {7-Hearts} turn. This time Le checked, and after a fairly lengthy pause, Timoshenko checked behind.

The river was the {a-Hearts} and Le now bet out 9,300, Timonshenko called with no hesitation, and turned over {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. Le turned over a king too - the {k-Hearts} but he slid it over to reveal his other card, the lacklustre {2-Hearts}, and Timoshenko took the pot.

Le is now in some trouble on less than 50,000.
