Shorr Triples Up

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Shannon Shorr raised to 5,000 from the hijack, Aneris Adomkevicius three-bet to 12,500 from the cutoff and Chris Ryan then four-bet to 35,000 from the button.

With action back on Shorr he then shoved his remaining 35,000, which sent Adomkevicius deep into the tank. After a clock was called Adomkevicius made the call, which was followed by a quick call from Ryan.

Adomkevicius checked the {8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop, Ryan bet 35,000, Adomkevicius folded and the two remaining players tabled their hands.

Shannon Shorr: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Chris Ryan: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Shorr had a dominating overpair and nothing changed on the {9-Clubs} turn or {6-Hearts} river, which secured him a much-needed triple up.
