Minnesota's Kou Vang, a member of the Mid-States Poker Tour's Hall of Fame, was seen at the payout desk cashing out in 57th place.
He related his bust-out hand as shoving with pocket nines only to run into the queens of Tomas Soderstrom.
Vang said he managed to flop a set but a lady on the river gave Soderstrom a big set and the elimination.
