It was a classic race as was Weinand ahead with his made hand and the flop gave him an open-ended straight draw.

Unfortunately for him, the fell on the turn pairing Eychenne and the river ended his tournament in 16th place for $51,278.

On the other table, Chris O'Neil was eliminated in the same hand so the players split the difference of 15th and 16th place.

There was heads-up action between Chris Moorman from early position and Chris O'Neil from the big blind with a board showing.

With roughly 1,300,000 already in the middle, O'Neil check-called Moorman's 1,000,000 bet and the completed the board on the river.

O'Neil checked his option once again then called off his 2,600,000 stack after Moorman fired out 3,000,000.

History and Winners of the Wynn Fall Classic Winners

The Wynn Fall Classic debuted back in 2012, and since then some of the biggest names in poker have claimed the prestigious title including 2015 WSOP Main Event champ Joe McKeehen, who won it that same year for $90,125. Two years later, Matt Affleck took it down for $139,348 and the following year it was Steve Sung coming out on top to the tune of $170,550.

More recently, Bob Shao claimed the title in 2019 for $222,820 while the 2020 edition was canceled due to the pandemic.
