Ryan Hughes raised to 800 under-the-gun and Daniel Lazrus made the call from the big blind.

On the flop , Lazrus check-raised a bet of 1,400 up to 2,800 and Hughes called.

Lazrus slowed down with a check on the turn and Hughes put in a big bet of 25,000 to win the pot.

"Rough start," said Lazrus. "I guess you can't chip lead every tournament."
