Gargano Wins With Better Full House

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

A player in middle position opened to 1,000 and Anthony Gargano on the button three-bet to 3,500. Action folded back around to the initial raiser, who flatted.

Action checked to Gargano on the {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop and he led out for 2,700. His opponent was not going anywhere yet and called.

Both players checked through the {9-Diamonds} turn to the {j-Hearts} river. The middle position player thought for some time before firing off a bet of 3,000, which Gargano snapped off, turning over {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} for aces full of nines while the middle position player could only show {j-}{j-} for the inferior full house.

Platt Finds Call to Bust Opponent

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante
Jeff Platt

With roughly 35,000 in the pot on a {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} board, a hijack player bet 13,500, and Jeff Platt called on the button.

The {9-Spades} completed the board and the hijack jammed for 20,500. Platt barely had his opponent covered and looked at the board while mulling over his decision. Eventually, he put in the calling chips.

The hijack flipped over {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}, while Platt tabled {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} to collect the pot and send his opponent to the rail.

Collado Sinks Moran

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

On a board reading {3-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} Daniel Moran in the small blind and Armando Collado from early position were involved in a hand. Moran led out for 5,000 and was called.

The {9-Clubs} river saw Moran bet again, this time a chunkier 8,500. Collado thought for some time before making the call. Moran confidently turned over {a-Spades}{10-Hearts} for aces up but was beaten to the pot by Collado's {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}, leaving Moran, who only registered at the break, short.

Weng Cannot Empty Clip

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

A player in the cutoff opened to 800 and Bin Weng three-bet to 2,800 from the button. Action folded back around to the original raiser, who called.

The cutoff player checked on a flop of {k-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{7-Spades} and Weng continued for 2,400. It was not enough to shed his opponent, who made the call.

Action was once again checked to Weng after the {a-Clubs} turn and he fired off 9,600. His opponent again called.

The {2-Spades} river put three spades on the board and for a third time the cutoff player checked. Weng mulled over his decision but eventually checked back and mucked after his opponent showed {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}.

Aces Up for Reixach

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante
Sergi Reixach
Sergi Reixach

With roughly 15,000 in the middle on a {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} board, Sergi Reixach bet 10,000 in the small blind. The cutoff player thought about it and called.

The {4-Clubs} completed the board and Reixach bet out four pink T-5,000 chips, covering his opponent's stack of about 18,000. His opponent called fairly quickly.

Reixach revealed {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs} to claim the pot with two pair and send his opponent to the rail.

Cheng Shoves River

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante
Gary Cheng
Gary Cheng

On a board reading {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{j-Spades} a player in the small blind led out for 15,500 and Gary Cheng on the button responded by shoving his stack of 27,500 into the middle. His opponent went deep into the tank."It's never a bluff," the small blind player mused. He had only a few chips behind, a fact that, as he put it, makes it "so hard to fold". Eventually, though, the player in the small blind was able to find a fold, leaving himself just 12,500 behind and sending a pot of over 60,000 Cheng's way.
