Jewell Can't Get Rid of Schumacher

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

John Ypma raised to 500 in the cutoff and was called by Johan Schumacher and Kurt Jewell in the blinds. The flop fell {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and the action checked to Ypma who continued with a bet of 600. Schumacher called but Jewell check-raised to 3,000. Ypma quickly folded but Schumacher still called.

The turn was the {5-Spades} which slowed down the action as both players checked to the {j-Diamonds} on the river. Schumacher led out with a bet of 5,000 and Jewell wasted little time before sending his cards to the muck.

Ding Scores a Triple Up

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Andrew Ding raised it up from early position and was called by David Mcgowan in the small blind. Raghavendra Dronavalli three-bet to 3,700 in the big blind and both Ding and Mcgowan called.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Dronavalli continued with a bet of 5,200. Ding just called and Mcgowan came along as well. The turn brought the {6-Spades} and Dronavalli fired out another bet of 16,200. Ding pushed all in for 20,300 and Mcgowan asked for a count before calling. Dronavalli also called and there was still action pending in a side pot.

The river was the {2-Spades} and both remaining players knuckled the table. Dronavalli showed {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} but Ding flipped over {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for a set of nines. Mcgowan was left with nothing after missing his straight draws with {q-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Ding scored a triple-up.
