Dyer Scores a Double Through Schwartz

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Michael Dyer and Jake Schwartz were heads-up on the turn with a little over 500,000 in the middle. The board read {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Schwartz checked from the big blind. Dyer moved all in for 650,000 in the cutoff and Schwartz snapped him off.

Michael Dyer: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Jake Schwartz: {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

Schwartz was down to just three outs and the {4-Spades} on the river was not one of them. He passed over a double-up and Dyer climbed back to where he started the day.

Dao Scores Massive First Pot

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

In a heads-up pot with just over 90,000 in the middle on a flop showing {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, Phung Dao checked from the big blind to Jason DeWitt in under the gun who bet out 25,000. Dao elected on a check-raise to 65,000 and DeWitt came along.

On the {6-Diamonds} turn Dao kept up the aggression with a bet of 115,000 and DeWitt tossed in chips for the call. The {5-Spades} completed the board and Dao grabbed a pile of chips and slid them forward for a bet of 200,000. DeWitt went deep in the tank, but after close to a minute made the call and was shown the bad news when Dao rolled over {5-Hearts}{4-Spades} for a full-house to score the massive early pot.
