2025 Wynn Summer Classic
Yesterday (June 4), was a simple day at 2025 Wynn Summer Classic. There was just one event played, Day 1C of the $1,100 No Limit Hold'em ($1.5m GTD).
This is the third and final Day 1 flight of the event, so the action was high and fast.
Frederico Bastos Retains Chip Lead After Day 1C Of $1,100 No Limit Hold’em
The $1,100 No Limit Hold'em ($1.5m GTD) has shaped up to be the biggest event of the festival so far.
The first day of action brought in 568 players to the table, putting $548,120 in the middle. Day 1B beat those numbers, more than doubling the prize pool to $1,099,139 and the field to 1,139.
Day 1C was even bigger. As the last Day 1 flight, there was time pressure to join, and with no other tourneys on the floor to distract the punters, the turnout was magnificent at 1,137 entries to the field.
This brought the total for the event up to 2,466 entries and the prize pool to a final sum of $2,379,690, confirming the $1,100 NLH as the biggest event of the series so far.
Later today, the 307 survivors of all three Day 1 flights will return to play a combined Day 2. Leading them is Frederico Bastos with 1,680,000 in chips.
Bastos is followed by Kevin Grabel in second place with 1,580,000 in chips.
