May 28: Jeff Boski Is Runner Up In $600 NLH Turbo, Lykov Leads $1.1k NLH Final Table

Two new events played from first deal to first place on May 28 at the 2025 Wynn Summer Classic.

The one-day $600 No Limit Hold'em and $600 No Limit Hold'em Turbo events both played down to their respective winners while the $1,100 No Limit Hold'em whittled away at its field till it reached the final nine.

Jeff Boski Comes Second In $600 No Limit Hold'em Turbo

A couple of poker notables cashed in the $600 No Limit Hold'em Turbo event.
Jessica Vierling took 16th place for $1,269 and Jeffrey Sluzinski, better known as Jeff Boski, came second.

Ryan Passey won this fast-paced, one-day tournament, eventually beating Boski heads up for the first-place prize of $20,471.

Boski won $12,292 for his second-place finish.

Kezheng Peng Wins $600 No Limit Hold'em

The $600 No Limit Hold'em event garnered 113 entries for a prize pool of $58,195.

Kezheng Peng won the event, earning $13,088.

When the event reached three-handed play, Peng cut a deal that gave Kyle Cameron $10,788 for second place and Joseph Locasto $9,278 for third.

$1,100 No Limit Hold'em Event Reaches Final Table

With two days of play done and dusted, the $1.5 million guaranteed $1,100 No Limit Hold'em event is at its final table. The remaining nine players will return tomorrow to finish the job, starting play with Maxim Lykov in the chip lead with 15,675,000.

Francisco Perez Moreno is close on Lykov's heels with 10,725,000 chips in second place. WSOP Circuit ring winner Bin Weng rounds out the top three with a stack of 9,300,000.

With 1,579 entries and $1,523,735 in the prize pool, this is the biggest event of the festival so far. So all nine players will be hoping to go home with the winner's check and accolades for taking it down.

Today (May 29) will see the final table of the $1,100 event playing out to its final winner, who is set to win at least $230k. There will also be another pair of $600 buy-in, no limit hold'em, one-day events that are similar to yesterday's.

The $1,100 No Limit Hold'em final table starts at 12:00 p.m. at the same time as the $50,000 guaranteed $600 No Limit Hold'em event.

The second one-day event, the $600 No Limit Hold'em Turbo, kicks off at 6:00 p.m. with late registration running until 9:00 p.m.

Players can also enter a $300 buy-in satellite today, at 5:00 p.m. The satellite awards seats for tomorrow's Seniors event and has five of these seats guaranteed.
