The $1,600 Mystery Bounty started issuing mystery bounties on July 7 at the Wynn Summer Classic. The event entered Day 2, which is when players were scheduled to start receiving bounty envelopes for knocking each other out.
While players were collecting those mystery bounties in one event, another event started up — the $2 million guaranteed $2,200 No Limit Hold'em. This event kicked off with Day 1a, the first of two starting flights.

Charles Phillips Wins $1,600 Mystery Bounty
Charles Phillips.
The $1,600 Mystery Bounty at the Wynn Summer Classic was a big success. A total of 2,541 entries put $3,633,630 worth of prizes and bounties in play over three starting flights.
As a result of a final table deal, the top six players walked away with similar amounts between $179,467 for sixth and $212,501 for first.
Charles Phillips took the final bounty of the night, collecting Heinz Schlueter's bounty heads up and winning the $212,501 first-place prize along with a Wynn Summer Classic trophy.
Schlueter earned $201,002 before bounties for second place, and Vasile Buboi came third, earning $195,438.
The randomized sizes of the bounties meant that players who didn't come close to the top were still able to collect six-figure paydays. There were multiple $100,000 bounties up for grabs, the first of which went to Armin Rezaei who ultimately came 24th for $6,590.
