Spanne Gets Paid on a Bluff
Level 25
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Chahn Jung raised to 130,000 on the button and Joseph Spanne defended from the big blind. The flop came 10♦9♦6♣ and Spanne check-called a bet of 150,000 from Jung.
The turn was the 2♥ and both players checked to the 10♥ on the river. Spanne counted out a bet of 450,000 and Jung looked him up.
"You're good," Spanne said as he turned over K♣8♥ for air. Jung started sizing up the board and counting on his fingers, finally conceding the pot to Spanne's king-high.
