Vu Spikes a Three-Outer to Double Up
Level 31
: Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Chahn Jung raised to 550,000 on the button and Quang Vu three-bet to 3,000,000 out of the small blind. Joseph Spanne flat-called in the big blind and Jung stepped aside.
The flop came A♠A♥4♠ and Vu slid his last 800,000 into the middle. Spanne quickly called and the cards were tabled.
Quang Vu: A♣3♣
Joseph Spanne: A♦J♠
Vu found himself way behind but the 3♠ on the turn flipped the script as Vu picked up a full house. The river was the 6♥ and Spanne was forced to pass chips across the table.
