Daniel Lowery and Scott Ball were the stars of the show on Thursday at the Wynn Millions series. The former won a title, and the latter found himself a big bag in a $2 million guaranteed tournament.

Yesterday's action saw one player win a trophy (Lowery), a new tournament begin, and a registration close in a third event. Friday's schedule at Wynn Las Vegas includes an 11 a.m. kickoff for Day 2 of the $400 No-Limit Hold'em ($150,000 guaranteed) and a noon start time for the $3,500 buy-in Wynn Millions Championship Day 1b flight.

Circuit Crusher Lowery is the Champ

Lowery, one of the top performers in World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) history, won another poker tournament on Thursday, this one the $1,100 Seniors (50+) No-Limit Hold'em event at the Wynn Millions series.

The Arkansas native with 18 WSOPC rings and $3.9 million in live tournament cashes came out victorious when he beat a field of 140 entrants for $35,078, the largest chunk of the $135,100 prize pool.

Lowery, a longtime respected mid-stakes tournament grinder, beat William Eissler, who received $21,721, heads-up for the title.
