Buckle Up, There's a Big Day Ahead at the Wynn Summer Classic
The 2026 Wynn Summer Classic might just be in its infancy stage, but the action will be heating up big time on Wednesday inside the luxurious Wynn Las Vegas on the Strip.
At 1 p.m. local time, Day 2 of the $1 million guaranteed $1,100 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em event takes place. Cody Wiegmann is holding on to a slim chip lead in what figures to be a grueling battle to the finish, with 26 players all entering the session with over 50 big blinds.
The first tournament of the day — cards in the air at 11 a.m. — will be the start of the $1,100 Seniors NLH (50+) event. This one promises at least $500,000 in the prize pool, with one Day 1 starting flight offered for the next two days. Day 2 is scheduled for May 29.
A second new event will also take place on Wednesday, and that is the $600 NLH Turbo, a $50,000 guaranteed tournament.
