Daniel Smiljkovic Wins Second Event in Two Days
After a noonday kick-off and four and a half hours of late registration, the day's $1,100 No Limit Hold'em event at the Wynn Summer Classic had garnered 209 entries.
That meant a first-place prize of $47,719 culled from a prize pool of $203,775. This just cleared the $200,000 guarantee, disappointing any overlay hunters who might have been attracted by the added value of the previous day's events.
Daniel Smiljkovic and Antonio Galiana Ortega confronted each other heads up over the felt for the top spot, with Smiljkovic emerging victorious.
This was Smiljkovic's second win in two days, having taken down the $1.5m guaranteed $1,100 No Limit Hold'em event the day before.
Ortega took home $29,502 and a story for his trouble.
