Donovan Dean Adds WSC Trophy To His Cabinet
The $1,100 No Limit Hold'em event at the Wynn Summer Classic yesterday went to Donovan Dean. Dean is a mid-stakes tournament regular with a fingerful of WSOPC rings and $2,851,606 in live tournament cashes.
Dean beat Harlan Karnofsky heads up in this event, securing the $51,145 top prize and a Wynn Summer Classic trophy.
Karnofsky hit the rail to collect $35,562 for his second-place finish.
Karnofsky and Dean were just the top two finishers from a field of 251 players. There weren't enough entries to hit the $250,000 guarantee. So, the Wynn sweetened the pot, making it up to the full amount.
