Georgios Tsoupras Leads $1,600 PLO After Day 1a
Day 1a of the $1,600 Pot Limit Omaha went well, bringing in 168 entries and putting $240,240 into the prize pool. With a guarantee of $1,000,000, that leaves a lot of work to be done by Days 1b and 1c, but it is a solid start.
For now though, Georgos Tsoupras has the chip lead with 978,000 in his bag. He already has two deep runs at this year's Wynn Summer Classic including a final table appearance.
Jonathan Abdellatif is right behind Tsoupras with 813,000 in his stack and Caleb Furth rounds out the podium positions in third with 667,000 in his stack.
So far, 21 players have found a bag for Day 2.
There are two more Day 1 flights to come, one on June 28, one on June 29. Then the field will combine for Day 2 on Tuesday, June 30.
