Glantz Walks Into Royal Flush

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Low

Pre flop Andrey Zhigalov raised to 16,000 and Matt Glantz made the call to see the {4-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} flop. The Russian bet 8,000 and was called before checking the {10-Diamonds} on the turn. Zhigalov bet 16,000 and Glantz tank called, leaving himself with only 30,000 behind. The Russian announced "Royal Flush" with absolutely no excitement or emotion in his voice and turned over {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{6-Spades}.

One hand later, Glantz called a raise from the button and then folded an ace high flop.

Last but not least he was all in for 17,000 and got three callers including Tyson Marks, Konstantin Puchkov and Zhigalov. The three of them checked down the {K-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{10-Diamonds} board until the river, Puchkov bet 16,000 and the other two players mucked their cards. Tom Schneider in the blinds had folded the nut flush pre flop.

Puchkov: {9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}
Glantz: {Q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Why Puchkov bet, the players on the table didn't understand. Glantz didn't mind though as he now has a few more big bets after scooping the pot.
