Looking for some poker tournaments to hone your skills before the big stage of the World Series of Poker? Look no further than the WSOP Warm-Up Poker Series at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
The 2014 WSOP Warm-Up Poker Series takes place from April 25 through May 4, featuring 25 tournaments, 11 of which have guaranteed prize pools or WSOP Main Event seat packages totaling more than $110,000. In addition, WSOP event seats will be added to the winner’s cash prize for all noon events.
The series begins with a noon $130 buy-in no-limit hold'em tournament on Friday, April 25. Tournament buy-ins for the series range from $130 to the $560 two-day Championship Event starting on Saturday, May 3. Special events are also scheduled throughout the tournament series, including Double-Stack Turbo events, Survivor tournaments, and Super Satellites into the Mega Satellite for the WSOP Main Event Seat package.
"Like any great athlete, you need warm-up matches (games) before you’re ready for the main stage," said Bill O’Connell, Poker Operations Manager at Caesars Palace. "Poker is a game where anyone with a chip and a chair is a threat to take home the title. What better place to do that then here at Caesars Palace Poker Room for the WSOP Warm-Up event?”
