Road to RunGood Cup Finalizes New Orleans Championship as Hard Rock Tulsa Stop Nears
In late August, the RunGood Poker Series kicked off its new season at Horseshoe Council Bluffs. That $675 Main Event attracted 283 entrants and saw two-time World Series of Poker Circuit ring winner Brandon Fish walk away with the $34,267 first-place prize. Now, one week before its next event, the RunGood Poker Series has announced that the "Road to the RunGood Cup" will culminate December 10-13 with a $675 buy-in, $100,000 guaranteed Championship Event at Harrah’s New Orleans.
The tournament, which will be open to the public, will feature Flight A starting Thursday, December 10th at 12:00 p.m., which will be followed by Flights B and C at the same time on Friday and Saturday respectively. Be sure to mark your calendar for that event as the PokerNews Live Reporting Team will be on hand to capture all the action from that event.
However, before our team gets there, we'll be at the RunGood Cup at Hard Rock Tulsa. That stop kicks off next Wednesday, September 16th with a $180 RG Deep Stack event featuring two starting flights and a $20,000 Guarantee. Then, on Thursday, Day 2 will play out alongside a $230 RG PLO Rebuy tournament and a 20-seat guaranteed 7 p.m. $160 Satellite. In addition, every non-satellite preliminary event will award a $2000 RunGood Championship package.
The tour has teamed up with vacation experts, Blaycation, to create $2,000 packages to December's Championship Event. Those fortunate enough to win a package will be treated to $300 Travel Cash, a three-night hotel stay in New Orleans, one Main Event Championship Ssat, two tickets to a private Champions Dinner, two tickets to the Pelicans vs. Wizards NBA game, and two tickets to a VIP Ghost/Pub Crawl Tour.

The $675 RunGood Tulsa Reentry Main Event will have three starting flights beginning on Friday, September 18th at 7 p.m. and Saturday, September 19th at 12 p.m. and 7 p.m. The final nine in that event will be awarded a RunGood Championship package.
In addition, the PokerNews Live Reporting Team will be on hand to capture action from the Main Event, which means players will have opportunity to use the My Stack app to update their hands and chip counts straight into the live blog.
