Following last year's success, the World Series of Poker Circuit returns for a second-time to Europe's largest poker room, King's Casino Rozvadov, from October 27 to November 14, 2016.
Located on the Czech-German border, the casino consistently attracts many players from around Europe to play in some of the most exciting tournament and ring-game action.
The 19-day action-packed poker festival features 14 WSOP Circuit gold ring events with €2,250,000 in guaranteed prize pools, highlighted by the four-day €1,650 WSOP Circuit Rozvadov Main Event with a huge €1,000,000 guarantee. The Main Event kicks off with two opening days on November 11-12, followed by two more days of action on November 13-14.
Last year's event attracted 715 players generating a €1,021,911 prize pool, which set a new record for the largest WSOP Circuit Main Event to be held outside the United States. In that event, Poland's Mateusz Dziewonski defeated Ireland's Andrew King in heads-up play to win the top prize of €206,927.
Similar to last year, the winner of the WSOP Circuit Rozvadov Main Event and the Player of the Series will both be awarded a free entry into the 2016 WSOP Global Casino Championship, where at least €1 million in guaranteed prizes will be awarded to the winners.
Other Highlights of the WSOP Circuit Rozvadov
In addition to the WSOP Circuit Rozvadov Main Event, the poker festival will be hosting many other exciting events. The action kicks off with a new tournament that was not included in last year's schedule, the €299 WSOP Circuit Opening Event, featuring a lofty €300,000 guaranteed prize pool, from October 27 to October 31.
Low-limit players will also be able to play for a mountain of cash in the €550 WSOP Circuit Monster Stack event from November 2-7, with a €250,000 guarantee.
Many big names will be in attendance not only to play in the Main Event, but to also take part in two high roller events. The €2,000 WSOP Circuit PLO High Roller is scheduled for November 8-10, followed by the €5,300 WSOP Circuit NLH High Roller on November 10-11, with both events guaranteeing a €100,000 prize pool.
Additionally, ring games at all stakes, spread across of a variety of poker formats, will be running 24 hours a day.
King’s Casino is obviously delighted about hosting the WSOP Circuit again, and believes this year's poker festival will be even bigger than last year.
"We are delighted to welcome the WSOP Circuit back to King’s and after the great success last year we are looking to make it bigger and even better this year," King's Casino owner Leon Tsoukernik said in a press release. "As Europe’s biggest card room we have increased the number of events and guaranteed prize money for this year’s circuit event and we intend to continue this positive forward direction."
WSOP Director Gregory Chochon also hopes that this year's WSOP Circuit at King's Casino builds on the big success of last year sharing that, "The WSOP Circuit continues to expand into Europe and we were thrilled with the huge turnout for the event at King’s last year when we came to the Czech Republic for the very first time. We are hoping for more of the same and more this year!"

Unibet pro Quentin Lecomte recently called King's Casino one of the best in Europe, stating that, "Right now, this is definitely one of the best casinos in Europe. Things are not the same in many other places on the continent, where you are treated like a king only when you play slots or roulette."
Along with great poker and casino action, players will be able to enjoy great food at two restaurants and be able to rest-up in style in the three, four, and five star hotels.
