On Saturday, there were another 13 events on the schedule of the 888poker XL Inferno Series. The highlight of the day was the 86th event of the series, the $88,000 Crazy 8. Let's see who took down this beautiful event and which players were crowned as winners in other events on Day 7.

XL Inferno #86 - $88,000 Crazy 8

At 8 p.m. GMT, 722 players registered for the XL Inferno #86 - $88,000 Crazy 8. In total, 409 players used their option to rebuy to create a total prize pool of $90,480. For the winner, there was a prize waiting of $16,919!

Every finalist was guaranteed $1,366 and the tournament reached that stage after "dmg34" busted in ninth place for $1,085. On the final table, "vengreen." and "root4deuces" left in quick succession finishing in eighth ($1,366) and seventh ($2,035) place. After that, "Kuconi1" from Slovakia finished in sixth place for $3,166, while "flamingrecca" ended up in fifth place for $4,524.

"GodfryJONES" from Ireland then busted in fourth place ($6,786) and Austria's "sh4xuR7" also missed out on the heads-up when he went out in third place for $9,048. The final two players were guaranteed a five-figure score, guaranteeing themselves $12,214. This was the prize for runner-up "liincownz" who couldn't defeat Luxembourg's "JDias99," who was crowned as a winner and received the first prize of $16,919.

XL Inferno #78 - $10,000 Lightning 6-Max

Once again, the new day started out with the $10,000 Lightning 6-Max. In total, 185 players competed for a total prize pool of $28,700. Most of this money went to the Brazilian runner-up "josino1961," who took $6,225 when he made a heads-up deal with "Kepalas89." The Lithuanian won the tournament and got $5,411.

XL Inferno #79 - $15,000 Breeze

The final two players in the XL Inferno #79 - $15,000 Breeze also made a heads-up deal. Winner "nlfreddie" got the most money ($3,749), while Brazil's runner-up "kkgustavokk" received $3,290.

XL Inferno #80 - $40,000 Octopus

The most expensive tournament on Day 7 of the XL Inferno Series was the XL Inferno #80 - $40,000 Octopus. In total, there were 262 players who paid the buy-in of $215 to create a great prize pool of $84,200. For the winner, there was a prize waiting of $16,419. After more than 10 hours of play, "Gandalf_MRS" from the United Kingdom snagged the title and the earlier mentioned first prize.

His fellow countryman "hell0_br0tti" received a prize of $12,209 for second place.

XL Inferno #81 - $15,000 Deepstack Swordfish

Another deal was struck in the $15,000 Deepstack Swordfish, where the last three players split most of the money. Czech Republic's "PrdelXXl" received $2,373.31 for his third place, while runner-up "uberslug1987" got $2,560. Switzerland's winner "ZSCLions83" took the victory and the most money, $3,176, was added to his account after the final hand.

XL Inferno #82 - $20,000 Crocodile

One of the bigger tournaments on Day 7 was the XL Inferno #82 - $20,000 Crocodile. There were 200 players competing for a prize pool of $30,000 and again, a deal was made by the final two players. This time, it was Germany's runner-up "alegaston" who received the lion's share of the prize pool with a prize of $5,653. The victory was for Polish player "oreichegounu" who received $5,446 on his account.

XL Inferno #83 - $25,000 Saturday R&A

It looked like no one wanted to play for the original first prize on Day 7 of the XL Inferno Series. In Event #83, another deal was made by the final three players. Again "PrdelXXl" was involved and he received $5,087 for second place. His fellow countryman "YordanPetrov" won the tournament for $5,267.

XL Inferno #84 - $15,000 Swordfish

XL Inferno #85 - $20,000 Monsoon

XL Inferno #87 - $20,000 Mini Crazy 8

The Mini edition of the Crazy 8, with a buy-in of $8.80, attracted 1,699 players and a total prize pool of $22,664. The lion's share of this money went to United Kingdom's "VXR2012", he received a prize of $3,966.

XL Inferno #88 - $30,000 Saturday Challenge

XL Inferno #89 - $15,000 Tornado

Another deal was struck in the XL Inferno #89 - $15,000 Tornado, where "DuduPa1986" took the most money as a runner-up. He received a prize of $3,694 while winner "Toilet_Po8L" got $3,559.76 after he won the tournament.
