The WSOP Circuit at King's Casino, located on the border of Germany in Rozvadov, Czech Republic began on Sept. 28 and runs until Oct. 18, the day before the much-anticipated WSOP Europe begins.

Andrej Desset Wins First Gold Ring

Already one of the 14 gold rings has been awarded to Slovakia's Andrej Desset after he outlasted a huge field of 1,687 entrants to win the €299 WSOP Circuit Oktoberfest €500,000 Gtd. Ring Event for €94,495.

This marks Desset's third big win this year in events with huge fields. In April he navigated through a field of 2,594 entrants to win the €225 partypoker Grand Prix Austria Main Event for €92,530. Later in April, he finished on top of a bigger field of 2,889 entrants to win the €225 partypoker Grand Prix Germany Main Event at King's Casino for €100,000.

WSOP Circuit Main Event Guarantees €1 Million

With many events left to go, anticipation is building for the €1,650 WSOP Circuit Main Event, which guarantees a mouth-watering €1 million prize pool. That event kicks off with two opening flights on Oct. 13 and 14 with players starting with 30,000 in chips and blinds increasing every 45 minutes. Players will have plenty of chances to bag a big stack with the tournament allowing for one re-entry per opening flight and one more re-entry available before the start of Day 2.

The structure becomes deeper on the final two days on Oct. 15 and Oct. 16 with blinds increased to 60 minutes.

Plenty of Side Events

Alongside the 14 WSOP Circuit gold ring events, King's Casino is hosting plenty of smaller side-events every day providing tournaments to suit any poker player. In addition, there are ring games running around the clock with stakes low and high.
