888poker Announces Stops for its 2018 LIVE Tour
888poker has revealed the locations its 888poker Live tour will head to during 2018, starting with London and ending the year in Lisbon.
Eight stops have been announced via 888poker’s eMagazine. Kicking off the year’s events is the aptly named 888LIVE 2018 Kickoff. This £120,000 guaranteed tournament, which costs £440 to enter, takes place at Aspers Casino in London between Feb. 8-11.
The tour jets off to Bucharest after London and will call the JW Marriot Hotel home from Feb. 28-Mar. 4. London then plays host to the WPT500 Easter Event from Apr. 1 before some poker and fun in the sun takes place at 888poker LIVE Barcelona from May. 23-Jun. 4.
888poker then plans to send its team of ambassadors and an army of online qualifiers to the 2018 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas from May. 30-Jul. 15. After that, it's off to Brazil’s Sao Paulo in September, back to London in late November and completes an action-packed year in December in Lisbon.

888poker Ambassador Dominik Nitsche said he is most looking forward to going back to London where he plans to play in some of the juicy cash games, while Parker “Tonkaaaa” Talbot says the WSOP is the stop he has his eye on.
“My number one event of the year, as always, is the WSOP Main Event sponsored by 888poker. I love this tournament, and the $888 Crazy 8s is also a huge event. I think I fired three bullets this year. Hopefully, I can get in for only one in 2018, but the tournament is so damn awesome that I'll fire as many times as need be.”

Satellites for all of the Main Events will be available online at 888poker and it is here that both Nitsche and Talbot say players should head if they want to get involved in the 2018 LIVE tour.
“There are plenty of satellites online, so you should obviously be looking to take advantage of those. It's always better to get into an event for cheap” said Nitsche, “If you have qualified and this is your first time playing a major tournament, try to remember that this is still the same game as it is online. Try to play well and most importantly remember that you will probably lose. After all, it's a poker tournament. Try to have fun and look at it as a learning experience.”
