PokerStars Guarantees $11 Million Over 27 Events in the High Rollers on Dec. 1-9

High Rollers at PokerStars

To the delight of lower stakes poker players, PokerStars just hosted the MicroMillions earlier in November. Higher stakes players weren't forgotten about as they will have a series dedicated to them with the High Rollers heading to PokerStars on Dec. 1-9. Of course, lower stakes players will also be able to play as well.

The High Rollers feature 27 action-packed events boasting $11 million in guarantees with buy-ins ranging from $530 to $10,300. Every day on the schedule has big money to be won with at least one event every day featuring a $5,200 or $10,300 event with a guarantee of at least $500,000. Four of the events feature guaranteed prize pools of at least $1 million.

The only day where there won't be a tournament with a guarantee of at least $500,000 will be on Dec. 9 when instead one of the biggest 6+ Hold'em (Short Deck) tournament online in the High Rollers 20: $5,200 6+ Hold’em [6-Max], $250K Gtd takes place.

The festival kicks off with a bang with Dec. 1 featuring four tournaments with combined prize pools of $2.1 million including the High Rollers 01: $10,300 NLHE with a $1 million guarantee. Other events with a $1 million guarantee including the High Rollers 08: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max] and the High Rollers 14: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max, Progressive KO] on Dec. 5.

$2 Million Guaranteed Main Event

The highlight of the High Rollers is easily the High Rollers 23: $5,200 NLHE [8-Max, Main Event] featuring a massive $2M Gtd. The Main Event provides an amazing structure that is hard to be matched online; a four-day event running from Dec. 8-11 is on tap, ensuring that players will get ample opportunity to make something happen.

Players start off with 250,000 in chips for a 250 big blind stack to start off the action on Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. CET. The action will continue the opening day for eight hours and five minutes. Players can fire up to three bullets into the event until the long late registration period closes near the start of Day 2 on Dec. 9, which features 8.5 hours of play.

Day 3 on Dec. 10 will see the action play down to a nine max final table, which will be played out until a winner is crowned on Dec. 11.

Low Stakes Opportunities to Play High Rollers

While these tournaments may seem like a dream to most due to their hefty price tags, there are plenty of opportunities out there to score a seat among the high rollers for a fraction of the buy-in, starting as low as $5,50.

PokerStars is hosting daily $5.50 feeder satellites. Win this to play in the a $55 feeder tournament a few hours later. The last obstacle to jump through is the daily $530 satellite tournaments which feeds into the biggest game of the day.

This is not all as PokerStars will be sweetening the pot with $50,000 in added tickets!
