After almost ten hours of play, the XL Inferno #26: $30,000 DeepStack crowned a winner. "metelindberg" from Russia claimed the first-place prize of $7,585 after defeating "dkfdyulr" in heads-up play.

The event had 584 players register with 219 rebuys for a total of 803 entries. They created a prize pool of $40,150 with 81 places getting paid. "EtEsIAben" from Denmark finished on the bubble and was the last player unable to break into the money.

After several hours of play, the tournament dwindled down to nine players who made for the official final table. In quick succession, the tournament lost "futomaki123" (ninth, $602), "n1ck805" (eight, $903) and "Hetbroekie" (seventh, $1,305).

With six players left, the tension rose. The Danish finalist "87542154" couldn't stand the heat and finished in sixth place for $1,706.

The United Kingdom's "mpo399" exited not long after, settling for fifth place and a prize of $2,144. The last player from Canada, "Borschbanaan" finished in fourth place for $3,051.

The remaining three players were all guaranteed at least $4,055, and that prize went to "EZ.PZ" for a third-place finish. After that, Russia's "metelindberg" got the victory and the first prize of $7,585. Runner-up "dkfdyulr" just missed the title and had to settle for second place ($5,501).

As is the case every day during 888poker's XL Inferno Series, there was also a Mini edition of the DeepStack on the schedule. To compete in this tournament, players had to pay $16.50. In total, 1,375 players did just that and 505 rebuys were made for a total of 1,880 entries.

That created a total prize pool of $28,200, getting divided over the last 162 players.

The most money was up for grabs on the final table, where every finalist got at least $305. All the attention went to the first prize of $4,603, which went to the United Kingdom's winner "mojitos86". The British player defeated German "michalinho97" in the deciding heads up and saw the runner up settling for second place ($3,716).

At 9 p.m. GMT, 576 players registered for the XL Inferno #28: $10,000 Late DeepStack. In total, 206 players used their option to rebuy to create a total of 782 entries. That meant there was no overlay and with that, a total prize pool of $23,460 with $4,434 for the winner.

Every finalist was guaranteed $359 and the tournament reached that stage after "Casmir0219" busted in tenth place for $282.

On the final table, "QuietMike", "Rickon86" and "praprap84" left in quick succession finishing in ninth ($359), eighth ($528), and seventh ($762) place. "RaiseOnceAli" and "geringonsa" had to settle for sixth ($997) and fifth ($1,267) place, before "KingsAngelo" ended up in fourth place ($1,806).

"Knaber666" from Lithuania then busted in third place ($2,393) and missed out on the heads-up. The final two players were guaranteed at least $3,249. In the end, it was Romania's "BehindSpace" who won the tournament for $4,434 while "MikhailT" settled for second place and $3,249.
