Weekend Preview: Massive PLO Events, More Bracelets, and €20K Supernova

Weekend Preview

There’s another action-packed weekend of poker tournament action ahead of us and we can’t wait to discover if any PokerNews readers walk away with some massive prizes and the title of champion.

Our Weekend Preview for this week features huge events taking place at partypoker, GGPoker, and Unibet Poker. Let’s check out what’s in store for you.

Second WPT World Online Championships Championship Event

The first of 12 Championship Events from the $100 million guaranteed WPT World Online Championships was crowned earlier this week when Paul Tedeschi took down the $3,200 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Low Championship. Tedeschi scooped $92,105 after a three-handed deal involving Dan Shak and Ansii Kinttala.

July 25 is your next chance to win a WPTWOC Championship and this even is even more special than the first.

The $3,200 buy-in WPT #02 Omaha Championship not only features a massive $1 million guaranteed prize pool, but it also grants its winner a $15,000 seat to the Tournament of Champions, plus travel and accommodation. Oh, and the champion becomes part of the exclusive Champions Club.

$3,200 may be outside the constraints of your bankroll, but don’t worry because there are a plethora of satellites and Mega Sats available. There is also a $320 Mini Championship and a $33 Micro Championship. You’ll be playing for a slice of a guaranteed $300,000 in the $320 Mini and $100,000 in the $33 Micro.

Even More Chances to Win a 2020 WSOP Bracelets

Head to GGPoker this weekend if you want to be in with a chance of winning a coveted World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet.

There are several flights remaining in both the $400 buy-in COLOSSUS and the $400 buy-in PLOSSUS. Both are huge events despite their relative affordability. The No-Limit Hold’em COLOSSUS has a staggering $3 million guaranteed with $1 million set to be won by playing in the Pot-Limit Omaha PLOSSUS.

You can also compete for the $600 Monster Stack No-Limit Hold’em 6-Handed title, the $1,500 No Limit Hold’em, and the $2,500 Pot-Limit Omaha.

The $1,500 MILLIONAIRE MAKER also kicks off for the first time, plus the Opener and Covid Relief tournaments both crown their champions.

All this is happening under the watchful eyes of the PokerNews Live Reporting Team so make sure you tune in and rail your favourite players to glory.
