RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) Coconut Creek Features $200K GTD Main Event

Seminole Coconut Creek

The popular RunGood Poker Series (RGPS), a tour that travels across the country, is set to host its next stop in South Florida from April 21 to May 2.

Tournament action will take place at the Seminole Coconut Creek, a town just off the coast about 20 minutes north of Fort Lauderdale and not far from the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood property.

RGPS President Tana Karn and his RGPS crew have an exciting schedule in store for poker players who make their way down to sunny Florida, starting with the $400 buy-in Super Stack No-Limit Hold'em opener, a multi-day event with $100,000 guaranteed. There are three Day 1 starting flights, one each day beginning at 10 a.m. from April 21-23, with Day 2 taking place on April 24.

Wide Range of Poker Tournaments

In total, the series features nine tournaments, including a one-day $250 buy-in Seniors event ($10,000 guaranteed) on April 25. Players aged 50 and over are eligible to compete in the no-limit hold'em tournament.

The Coconut Creek series guarantees at least $400,000 money will be awarded over the nine events. All will be no-limit hold'em games, except for the $200 buy-in pot-limit Omaha on May 1 ($5,000 guaranteed).

Back to the East Coast

Raminder Singh
Raminder Singh poses after winning the RunGood Poker Series at Seminole Casino in August 2021.

Founder Tana Karn brought his RunGood Poker Series out to the East Coast last summer for the first time to Seminole Casino Coconut Creek. PokerNews was on-hand providing live reporting duties for that series, and we will do it again later this month in the Main Event.

Raminder Singh took down the August RGPS Coconut Creek $600 Main Event for $45,416 following a heads-up chop with Timothy "TK" Miles, who also received the same payout.

The two talented poker pros beat out a field of 519 runners, creating a prize pool of $275,000, smashing the $200,000 guarantee. Expect more of that later this month when the RGPS returns to town later this month as the stakes are raised to $1,100 for the Main Event.
