PokerStars EPT Season

PokerStars is inviting tournament grinders to a huge online celebration of the European Poker Tour during the EPT Season. Running from October 12 through to November 9, the EPT Season boasts 76 tournaments over 37 episodes with buy-ins ranging from $3.30 up to $1,050. What's more, PokerStars is giving away seven Gold EPT passes, each worth $10,300. Want to know more about the EPT Season? Then keep reading.

The PokerStars EPT Season explodes into action on October 12 with seven value-packed tournaments. One of those, the $109 buy-in, $1 million guaranteed Sunday Million, is a two-day affair starting at 6:00 p.m. BST. The Sunday Million on the EPT Season's opening night is a mystery bounty, giving players the chance to win huge bounty prizes once the money bubble bursts.

Players in this Sunday Million sit down armed with 100,000 chips and play to a 15-minute clock where the blinds start at 250/500/60a. Late registration remains open for four hours and five minutes, during which time up to five re-entries are permitted, meaning jumping into this event's satellites and capturing a seat or two is worthwhile.

Satellites for the Sunday Million Mystery Bounty edition can be found in the PokerStars lobby right now. While they all award $109 seats, a handful of satellites have caught PokerNews' eye, not least because of the sheer number of guaranteed seats.

  • Sat 11 Oct @ 6:05 p.m. BST - $11 buy-in with 150 seats guaranteed
  • Sat 11 Oct @ 8:05 p.m. BST - $11 buy-in with 100 seats guaranteed
  • Sun 12 Oct @ 3:15 p.m. BST - $11 buy-in with 100 seats guaranteed
  • Sun 12 Oct @ 4:05 p.m. BST - $11 buy-in with 200 seats guaranteed

Find November 2 on your calendar and make sure you have nothing planned from 6:05 p.m. BST because that's when the $22 EPT Mystery Special shuffles up and deals. PokerStars has slapped a $500,000 guarantee on this mystery bounty tournament's prize pool, but that's not all. Everyone who enters this event automatically receives an entry to an All-In Shoot Out where three EPT Gold Passes will be won. Those passes are redeemable against an EPT stop of the winners' choice.
