888poker KO Games

The 888poker KO Games concluded on November 18 with the crowning of the final champions, including that of the $200,000 Rakeless Mystery Bounty Main Event. Over the course of several $109 buy-in Day 1s, a total of 1,795 players bought in. By the time those flights and Day 2 concluded, only eight players remained. They returned to their seats on the evening of November 18 under the watchful eyes of the 888poker Twitch stream.

Eleven of the mystery bounties were worth at least $2,000, with one tipping the scales at a cool $20,000. That princely sum found its way to Brazil's "garrafalitro" during Day 2. They may have busted in 71st place, but they received a $20,460 payout, the largest haul of the entire tournament.

Brazilian "h.dogui" sat down at the final table as the chip leader with 4,188,413 chips (52 big blinds). Sweden's "simenuts" found themselves at the opposite end of the chip counts; their 465,521 stack was equivalent to only six big blinds.

7SYO.OOUkraine$1,7721,659,05821

Unsurprisingly, the shortest stack was the first player out of the door. "simenuts" opened to 400,000 with ace-four, leaving a shade over one small blind behind. That micro stack went into the middle on a nine-high flop after "fedazete" called the preflop raise with pocket eights. "fedazete" snap-called the jam on the flop, and their eights held to eliminate "simenuts" in eighth.

The next 25 minutes passed without an elimination. The stalemate ended when "Brits01" committed their last 4.2 big blinds with king-six of hearts from the small blind, and "CurrD" called in the big blind with queen-seven. "CurrD" flopped a seven to take the lead then improved to a flush on the river despite the river improving "Brits01" to top pair.

It may have taken 35 minutes to lose the first two players, but the Rakeless Mystery Bounty Main Event wrapped up less than an hour after seventh-place was decided.

The start-of-the-day chip leader, "h.dogui," saw their tournament end in a sixth-place finish. Ukraine's "Magellan1" and "Gyurika90" joined the list of busted players before "CurrD" bowed out in third, sending the Main Event into the heads-up stage. "CurrD" walked away with $15,662 for their efforts, including $7,772 from the mystery bounty prize pool.

"SYO.OO" sat down for the heads-up battle with 64.3 big blinds to the 35.2 big blinds of "fadazete." Despite the difference in stacks, both players agreed to an ICM deal early into the one-on-one encounter.

"fedazete" clawed their way level before forging a lead for themselves. The final hand saw "SYO.OO" min-raise with pocket tens, "fadezete" three-bet then call after "SYO.OO" four-bet jammed for 31.7 big blinds. The pocket tens were a substantial favorite, but that fact remained true only until "fadezete" flopped a set. Those three-of-a-kind eights held, and "fadezete" became the 2025 KO Games champion.
