When it comes to poker tournament festivals and promotions, GGPoker is not an online poker operator that does things by halves. Take the upcoming Winter Giveaway Series as a shining example. The $100 million Winter Giveaway Series runs online at GGPoker from December 14 through to January 27. The series features 45 numbered events plus thousands of other tournaments flying under the Winter Giveaway Series flag.
Of course, the biggest and most eagerly anticipated events of the series are the numbered tournaments. One shuffles up and deals at 6:00 p.m. UTC every day from December 14 up to and including January 27.
In true GGPoker style, each of those tournaments carries an ambitious guarantee, which GGPoker is spicing up by adding an extra 5% to. Add all of the additional 5% from the numbered events and the rest of the Winter Series Giveaway's tournaments, and you arrive at the princely sum of $5 million in added value!
GGPoker Winter Giveaway Series Numbered Events Schedule
Six of the Winter Series Giveaway events are guaranteed to have prize pools of at least $1 million. Usually, a tournament featuring such a lofty guarantee would command a buy-in considered to be high stakes, but not during this festival.
The Winter is Coming 6-Max is one of the first numbered events on the schedule. Its final day takes place on December 15, where the bulk of its $1 million (plus an added $50,000) guarantee will be awarded. Its buy-in? Only $50.
A week later, thousands of GGPoker players will fight it out in the Santa's Sled Bounty Turbo Final Stage. This event has a whopping $2 million (plus a $100,000 add-on) for only a $25 buy-in.
GGPoker Unwraps a $25M End-of-Year Giveaway This December
January 5 marks the final day of the $11 buy-in, $1 million guaranteed Happy New Year Event, with Day 2 of the $54 buy-in Lucky Fortune Mystery Bounty running on January 12. That tournament guarantees a cool $3 million plus an additional $150,000 on top.
The largest guaranteed event on the schedule is the $250 buy-in Winter Giveaway Grand Finale. Its Day 2 starts on January 26. By the time its champion is crowned, GGPoker will have awarded $5 million plus another $250,000 on top in this event alone!

If you already play at GGPoker, simply fire up the software, log into your account, and buy into one of the tournaments. Those without an account can download GGPoker via PokerNews and help themselves to a sizeable welcome bonus.
New depositing customers can choose between receiving $100 in rewards or a 100% match bonus up to $600.
Choosing the tournament tickets bonus requires a minimum deposit of $10. You'll receive $52 in free tickets across six days following your qualifying deposit. An additional $46 worth of rewards, in the form of C$ (Cash Dollars) is available every day for six days if you play 200 hands of All-in Or Fold (AoF).
