Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi has always been one of poker’s greatest ambassadors. He makes the game look fun, plays with relentless passion, and brings maximum energy every time he sits down at the felt.

Now, the 2025 World Series of Poker Main Event champion is adding another chapter to his legendary career. For the first time since the days of Full Tilt, Mizrachi will once again wear the patch of a major online poker operator.

Today, GGPoker, the world’s biggest poker room, announced the signing of Mizrachi as its newest Global Ambassador. Mizrachi joins a star-studded roster that already includes the likes of Daniel Negreanu and Fedor Holz, further cementing GGPoker’s status as the home of the game’s greatest champions.

A Historic Summer

Mizrachi arrives on the GGTeam following one of the most extraordinary WSOP campaigns in poker history.

In Las Vegas this summer, he captured the 2025 WSOP Main Event for $10 million and his eighth career bracelet, while also taking down the prestigious $50,000 Poker Players Championship for a record-breaking fourth time.

The double victory — winning both the Main Event and the PPC in the same summer — is an accomplishment never before seen in poker and one that immediately secured Mizrachi’s place in the Poker Hall of Fame.

Making Poker Fun Again

Speaking exclusively to PokerNews after the announcement, Mizrachi explained why GGPoker was the right fit at this stage of his career.

"GGPoker is simply the future of the game..."

“GGPoker’s the greatest poker site right now. It's the biggest and the best, and GG, it’s Grinder’s game, baby,” he said.

“After winning the Main Event and going straight into the Hall of Fame, I was looking for a partner that matches my ambition, and GGPoker is simply the future of the game. I’m ready to represent GGPoker globally and bring the passion of ‘The Grinder’ to the online felt.”

Mizrachi also revealed his upcoming live schedule, one that will see him travel across multiple continents over the coming months.

“Right now, most importantly Estonia for the No Filter Poker Series. From here, I’m going to The Bahamas for the World Tournament of Slots and then I have a private poker game in Medellín, Colombia. Not a bad place to have one. Maybe Brazil, then WSOP Circuit Panama, and then back to Vegas for Grinder’s Game. I’m definitely going to WSOP Paradise, December 4–18, and I’m winning the Super Main Event.”

Mizrachi also said his mission is to make poker fun again. “I want to change the game in different ways. When people play poker, I want them to have an experience and have fun because I’m tired of the hoodies and glasses. We’re gonna make poker fun for people to play. No solvers, no nothing. Just instincts, feel, and applying pressure.”

Negreanu, who leads the GGTeam, welcomed the addition of Mizrachi with high praise.

“Michael Mizrachi is poker royalty. To achieve the ‘Double’ — winning the Poker Players Championship and the Main Event in the same summer — is a feat we may never see again. That kind of enduring greatness belongs on the GGTeam. We are thrilled to welcome The Grinder and look forward to an even more exciting future together.”
