Aleks Borovkov Takes Down the GGMillion$ for $374K and a $10K Live Package

Last week, Aleks Borovkov reached the $10,000 GGMillion$ final table in seventh place before bowing out in sixth for $88,174. Seven days later, Borovkov found himself as the same tournament's final table chip leader. This time, he got the job done. He banked $374,609 and a $10,000 package to the live edition of the GGMillion$ at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise festival.

There was no runaway chip leader or super short stack at this week's final table. Borovkov led with 64 big blinds, with Arunas Sapitavicius close behind on 52 big blinds. Viacheslav Larin may have been the shortest stack, but he still had 19 big blinds at his disposal.

The first 45 minutes of the final table passed without an elimination, a drought that ended with Danilo Velasevic's untimely demise. Velasevic opened ace-king of spades from early position from a 20 big blind stack. The action folded to Arsenii Malinov in the small blind, who moved all-in with king-queen of diamonds. Velasevic instantly called and watched on as a queen on the flop ultimately resigned him to a ninth-place finish.

Estonia's "Clarity" fell in eighth after they called a shove on the river with a Broadway straight, only to discover four-time GGMillion$ champion Duco Haven had turned a flush.

Seventh place and the last five-figure score went to Sapitavicius. He lost all but seven big blinds in a clash with Larin when he had two pair on the turn, but Larin had turned a straight. He three-bet all-in on the very next hand with ace-try in the small blind after Borovkov had opened on the button and lost to king-six of clubs.

Dutchman Haven crashed out in sixth for $111,017. He lost heaps when he turned a set of sevens in a hand where last week's champion Artem Osmirko had flopped a set of aces. Haven immediately managed to double to 14 big blinds with pocket fives against Malinov's queen-four of diamonds.

However, his comeback was quashed after Osmirko min-raised under the gun, Borovkov called from the next seat along, and Haven jammed with king-queen of clubs from the cutoff. The action folded back to Borovkovs, and he called with the dominating ace-king. A queen on the flop put Haven in front, but an ace on the river sent him to the rail.

Larin claimed the chip lead by sending Osmirko home in fifth. Osmirko opened with pocket tens before calling Larin's jam from the big blind. Larin turned over ace-queen of clubs, paired his ace on the flop, and busted the reigning champion.

The final four became three after Malinov fell by the wayside. He opened on the button with pocket jacks only to see Larin, who had just become an overwhelming chip leader, rip in his stack with queen-jack of hearts. Malinov called off the 16 big binds he had behind. Larin drilled a three-outer on the flop and hit another queen on the turn.

Malinov's seat hadn't even gone cold when the GGMillion$ was suddenly heads-up. "Tsintao," a brand-new GGPoker player who won a $1,050 satellite into this event, pushed their last 13 big blinds into the middle from the small blind with ace-five, only to see Larin call in the big blind with ace-seven. A seven on the flop proved enough to send "Tsintao" to the showers with a $230,305 score to kickstart their GGPoker career.

Larin held a 16,567,756 to 3,495,244 chip lead over Borovkovs at the start of heads-up, and it was their tournament to lose. Borovkovs chipped away at the leader, eventually drew level before nudging in front when he turned a flush and was paid off despite Larin opting against continuing his triple barrel bluff on the river. GTO Wizard suggested a shove was the right move, but Larin checked behind and used the "phew" emoji when he saw his opponent's hand.

The final hand saw Borovkov raise with ace-eight of spades and call when Larin moved all-in for 18 big blinds with ace-six. An eight on the turn left Larin needing a seven to complete a straight, but the river was a five. Larin finished second, earning $293,725, while Borokovs was announced as the champion and received $374,609.
