Daniel Negreanu Hyped Over WSOP Paradise Schedule's 'Bonkers' Guarantee
Table Of Contents
The full schedule is out for the 2025 World Series of Poker Paradise (WSOPP), a bracelet series in the Bahamas featuring a record-breaking $60 million guaranteed Super Main Event.
Daniel Negreanu, the face of GGPoker, promoted the schedule release on X in a brief video. He joked about how "bonkers" it is to increase last year's $50 million guarantee, the previous largest guaranteed prize pool in poker history. The series runs Dec. 4-16 at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
Negreanu, who finished eighth in the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Player of the Year race this summer in Las Vegas, will get another crack at the $25,000 buy-in Super Main Event, a tournament in which he had a rough go of it in 2024.
WSOP Paradise Schedule Highlights
Negreanu also introduced a new event on the 2025 WSOPP schedule and said," the partnership with Triton is back and bigger than ever."
GGPoker, the WSOP, and Triton Poker have partnered again on six of the 16 bracelet events scheduled, starting with the $75,000 buy-in Triton PLO 6-Handed on Dec. 4.
The first tournament on Opening Day, however, is the new one Negreanu was referring to — $2,500 Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty NLH, which guarantees at least $5 million in the pot. All World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) ring winners are freerolled into the tournament.
Tournaments at the 2025 WSOP Paradise festival range from $2,500 to $250,000. The biggest buy-in, which kicks off Dec. 7, is the Triton Invitational - NLH. There will be five entry fees in the six-figure range.
The main attraction in this bracelet series will be the Super Main Event starting Dec. 10. Last year's tournament saw 24-year-old Yinan Zhou beat 1,978 runners to take it down for $6,000,000. The Chinese poker player had about $20,000 in prior live tournament cashes, according to The Hendon Mob.
The $60 million guarantee is even more gutsy from the WSOP when you take into consideration the 2024 edition had overlay with a $50 million guarantee. But GGPoker, whose parent company bought the WSOP for $500 million last July, is swinging for the fences coming off a banner series in Las Vegas.
World Series of Poker Paradise will, for the third straight year, directly compete with the WPT World Championship in Las Vegas, a major series running from Dec. 2-22 at Wynn.
