The final events of the 2025 National Poker League (NPL) are done and dusted, and the points have been awarded, meaning we now know the name of the Grosvenor Casinos Player of the Year and recipient of a £40,000 sponsorship package. Take a bow, Thomas Clack.

Clack has enjoyed a fantastic year at the felt, racking up cashes like they were going out of fashion. The popular grinder finished in the money in 36 tournaments, reached an impressive 15 final tables, and banked two victories. Clack's total earnings from NPL events totaled over £430,000.

The first of those victories came in the £1,650 High Roller at the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) Coventry stop at the turn of the year, a result worth £55,200. Clack also won the £1,650 High Roller at GUKPT Leeds in May for another £31,570.

However, it was a runner-up finish that yielded a career-defining score for the eventual 2025 NPL champion. In July, Clack fell at the final hurdle in the £200 Goliath, a tournament that attracted 12,961 entrants and boasted a £1,970,070 prize pool. Clack collected £217,500 for his bridesmaid finish, while Goliath champion Paul Worsley received £316,640.

A third-place finish in the £1,250 GUKPT Blackpool Main Event all but cemented Clack's NPL title, with an 11th-place finish in the £2,000 GUKPT Grand Final leaving the chasing pack with an almost impossible task of catching him.

Clack now joins the ranks of Team Grosvenor with a £40,000 sponsorship package under his belt. This means GUKPT and 888poker UK Poker League (UKPL) regulars will be seeing even more of Clack in 2026.

Keith Littlewood and Ravi Sheth finished second and third in the 2025 NPL, respectively. Both receive a £20,000 Diamond Package made up of live credit for the 2026 NPL events. Littlewood cashed 27 times, reached 17 final tables, and won six tournaments, but that wasn't enough to catch the elusive Clack.

Sheth's 22 cashes, nine final table appearances, and brace of wins included the £1,250 GUKPT Main Event at the Goliath festival for £192,700.

Others who finished in the top ten were Harry Sandford and Michael Rosaman, who both scooped £15,000 live credit packages, plus Andrew Hulme, Philip Tate, Dale Wilson, Calogero Morreale, and Yucel Eminoglu, who netted £10,000 packages.

Although they finished outside the top ten, Alexander Rizvi and Wantao Tang also received £10,000 packages for the 2026 season.

The 2026 GUKPT Season Begins January 8
