Only two legs of the 2026 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) season remain before the Grand Final takes place in mid-November. One of those two remaining legs is coming right up, with GUKPT Leeds running from September 23 through October 4.
This is the 10th time that Leeds has hosted a GUKPT during the tour's 20 seasons. Aside from the COVID-19-enforced hiatus, GUKPT Leeds has been a permanent fixture on the tour's schedule since 2017.
The 2026 edition of GUKPT Leeds kicks off with a £60 buy-in satellite awarding at least 10 seats to both the £150 Warm Up and £250 Mini Main at 7:00 p.m. on September 23. The first actual event starts at 6:00 p.m. on September 24. It is the £150 GUKPT Warm Up, which carries a £75,000 prize pool guarantee.
While the GUKPT Warm Up is crowning its champion on September 27, the first of four £250 Mini Main flights begins. The Mini Main guarantees that at least £100,000 will be won.
Other events include a £200 Pot-Limit Omaha, a £1,500 High Roller, the £340 GUKPT Cup, a £200 Turbo, a £250 Last Chance, and a £200 Closer. Every event's prize pool has a guarantee.
With £200,000 guaranteed, the GUKPT Leeds Main Event is the biggest tournament on the schedule. It features a trio of Day 1s, with late registration open into early Day 2. Each flight costs £1,000 to enter, unless players win their way in via the handful of live satellites or the online satellites running at Grosvenor Poker and GGPoker.

Previous GUKPT Leeds Main Event Champions
Harry Law won the inaugural GUKPT Leeds Main Event back in September 2014. Law took home £32,500 for that victory at a time when the Main Event cost £550 to enter.
The first £1,000 buy-in GUKPT Leeds Main Event happened in 2023. Christopher Johnson won that event and returned home with £73,070. A year later, Konstantinos Patsourakis left 360 opponents in his wake as he claimed the £78,419 top prize, which remains the largest sum won in any GUKPT Leeds Main Event.
Keith Littlewood is the reigning GUKPT Leeds champion. Littlewood triumphed over 246 opponents and scooped a £40,440 prize for his efforts.

2025 GUKPT Leeds Results
When the GUKPT was last in Leeds, 10 champions were crowned across 11 events. The difference between champions and tournaments was that the aforementioned Keith Littlewood won the Main Event and took down the £330 Mystery Bounty.
Thomas Clack and Robert Douras both added more than £20,000 to their bankrolls. Douras won the £250 Mini Main for £20,830 with Clack coming out on top in the £1,650 High Roller for £31,570.
