The 2026 World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) King's Resort has concluded in Rozvadov, with Greek player Georgios Vrakas taking down the week's showpiece €1,500 WSOPC Main Event.
Vrakas, who now jumps to 4th on his nation's all-time money list, would outlast a field of 692 players to capture his maiden WSOPC ring and the not-so-small matter of €164,000.
The victory was one of 12 ring events, held across a packed 13 days of action at the King's Casino in Czechia, as 2026's WSOP Circuit calendar got off to a flying start.
Vrakas Rules the Roost in Rozvadov
The €1,000,000 GTD €1,500 WSOPC Main Event delivered action in spades after an entertaining final table showdown saw Georgios Vrakas defeat final day chipleader José Gómez Casillas to win his first-ever WSOPC ring.
Vrakas, no stranger to big wins, having scored PokerStars National Championship honors of €330,000 and €338,000 at Barcelona and Prague in 2017, would land one of the biggest scores of his career, totaling €164,000, as he overcame the Mexican Casillas, who himself is no stranger to the Rozvadov winner's circle.
There was an international flavor to the final table, with seven different nationalities represented across eight seats. Local favourites Roman Papáček and Zdeněk Žižka flew the flag for Czechia, finishing fourth and seventh respectively, in what was a stellar fortnight for Žižka, who added a WSOPC ring to the bracelet he won in Las Vegas last summer alongside his deep Main Event run.
But in the end, it would be Vrakas’ day after he raised preflop with 6♦5♦, prompting a snap all-in call from Casillas holding Q♥J♣. The board ran out 6♥4♦3♣K♠A♣ to give Vrakas a pair, and both players embraced as the WSOPC Championship Main Event winner was confirmed.

Nica, Sacchi and Zupec Grab WSOPC Rings
Elsewhere, there were other big winners confirmed in the final days of the festival, with High Roller, 6-Max, and Bounty Hunter action all delivering drama at the King's Casino.
Romania's Cosmin-Ionut Nica collected the biggest score of his career, taking down the €3,000 High Roller NLH to claim his first-ever WSOPC ring and €68,100. Nica beat a final table dominated by Italian players, with Italians making up five of the final table spots, but would outlast them all to defeat Ersin Sancak heads-up and take the top prize.
The Italian contingent in Rozvadov wouldn't have to wait long for a champion of their own, however, as Daniele Sacchi won the eleventh ring of the festival in the €600 WSOPC 6-Max, claiming €26,240 to become another recipient of a maiden ring. Trips to Czechia have proven to be very fruitful for Sacchi over the years, who just last month claimed an impressive 2nd in the Pirates Poker Treasure Christmas Mystery Bounty in Rozvadov, alongside a deep 3rd place run just days before that in the €3,250 Mystery Bounty at EPT Prague.
Finally, the festival was rounded off by Slovenian Jan Zupec, who took bounty glory of his own in the €1,000 Bounty Hunter NLH, capturing €22,270 and the twelfth and final ring. The result adds to a good few months for Zupec, who also scored the two biggest results of his career back in the summer at Poker EM 2025 in Velden, Austria, where he took down the €2,750 European Poker Championship Main Event for a cool €151,000 alongside the €800 NLHE 6-handed.
