2026 WSOP Europe

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has unveiled the full schedule for the 2026 WSOP Europe festival, featuring several significant changes. In previous years, the WSOPE has taken place in September and October, but the 2026 instalment runs from a much earlier March 31 until April 12.

Additionally, the WSOP has announced a new WSOP Player of the Year competition that encompasses the WSOP Europe, WSOP in Las Vegas, and the year-ending WSOP Paradise. It comes with a $1 million prize pool, which includes a $100,000 WSOP Paradise Package for the eventual winner, and rewards the top 100 finishers on the year-long leaderboard.

"We are thrilled to kick off 2026 with a bold new vision for the World Series of Poker," Ty Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of WSOP, said. "By uniting our three flagship live series under a unified, $1M Player of the Year competition, we're giving players a true global season to chase history.

"Starting with a monster guarantee in Prague, continuing our summer homecoming in Las Vegas, and culminating in Paradise, we are dedicated to offering the best value and the biggest stages in the world."

New Dates For the 2026 WSOPE

Earlier this month, the WSOP unveiled the schedule for the first five months of the 2026 WSOP Circuit. The schedule marks the first time the WSOPC has run to a calendar-year format.

The 2026 WSOP Europe festival also has new dates and a new venue, with the series heading to Prague from March 31. Players from far and wide will head to Prague for the 2026 WSOPE, where they'll battle across 15 bracelet-awarding events, including the massive Main Event.

Headlining the 2026 WSOP Europe schedule is the €5,300 Main Event. Traditionally, the WSOP Europe Main Event has a €10,350 buy-in, but the 2026 edition has reduced the buy-in to a more affordable €5,300. Despite the new, lower price point, the 2026 WSOP Europe Main Event boasts a €10 million guarantee on its prize pool.

The €1,500 buy-in European Circuit Championship is a new addition to the 2026 WSOPE schedule. A sizable crowd is expected for this maiden event, as evidenced by the WSOP placing a €1.5 million guarantee on its prize pool.
