BetRivers Spring Championship Series Starts Feb. 22; $500,000 Guaranteed
BetRivers Poker has a major online poker series on the horizon for players in the United States, and you're not going to want to miss out on the action.
The BetRivers Spring Poker Championship, which features over 88 events, promises to pay out at least $500,000 between Feb. 22 and March 8. Itching to get in on the tournament poker action and don't want to wait a couple of weeks? You don't have to wait and can get your pre-Series fix by competing in the Road to the Spring Championship from Feb. 8-21.
This promotion provides players an opportunity to earn entries into various Championship events. For every multi-table tournament you enter during the promo period, you'll earn one entry into a drawing. At the end of the promotion, $10,000 worth of tickets will be awarded, with 200 Low Tier winners splitting $2,000 in Championship tickets, 200 Medium Tier winners splitting $3,000 worth of tickets, and the final 200 High Tier winners getting a share of $5,000 in tickets.
Spring Championship Series Highlights
Action starts Feb. 22 with the first few events in what is shaping up to be a massive online poker festival. Buy-ins for the series range from $5 to $500, with the first two events being a $100 tournament with $17,500 guaranteed and $10 entry for a $3,000 minimum prize pool.
There are two tiers (high and low) during the series, with 44 unique events (88 total tournaments) all featuring guaranteed prize pools. The most expensive buy-in of them all is the $500 Super High Roller on March 1, which comes with a $25,000 guarantee.
The Main Event takes place March 8, the final day of the series. Entry for the Low Tier costs $20 and the tournament has a $6,000 guaranteed prize pool. The High Tier costs $200 to play for a share of the $40,000 minimum prize pool.
Daily satellites and step tournaments will be available on BetRivers Poker for those looking to get in on the action for a fraction of the buy-ins. There will also be an exclusive BetRivers Spring Championship trophy awarded to all tournament winners and the Player of the Series champion.
