PokerStars Revamps Power Path With New $530 Bronze Pass
Table Of Contents
PokerStars has rolled out a major update to its Power Path qualification system, introducing a brand-new $530 Bronze Power Pass as part of a restructure designed to smooth out progression between buy-in levels.
The changes, which came into effect on April 27th, leave the upper echelons of Power Path unchanged, with the $10,300 Gold Pass and $2,500 Silver Pass both remaining in place, while the main adjustments come further down the ladder, where PokerStars has reshaped its Bronze tier and added a new entry point for lower-stakes players.
Here's everything you need to know about this exciting update.
New $530 Bronze Pass Introduced
The most significant change of the new update sees the former $109 Bronze upgraded into a $530 Bronze Pass.
According to PokerStars, the adjustment comes as a result of player and staff feedback that there should be a more balanced structure within Power Path, particularly for those players moving between lower buy-ins and mid-tier packages.
Alongside the pricing tier, PokerStars has also introduced a brand new $109 Spade Pass. This effectively replaces the old Bronze entry point and is intended to serve as a more direct route into lower-stakes flagship events, including $109 buy-in tournaments such as the Sunday Million.
The result is a revised four-tier system that now includes:
- Gold Pass – $10,300
- Silver Pass – $2,500
- Bronze Pass – $530
- Spade Pass – $109
More Gradual Progression Through Power Path
The update creates a more gradual pathway through the qualification structure, particularly for players who previously faced a steep jump between the $109 and $2,500 levels.
With a revised format, it offers an additional stepping stone for players building towards larger online and live event packages.
The new structure also gives clearer definition to each level of the Power Path ladder, with each pass now aligned more closely to specific buy-in ranges and target events.
Limited-Time 25% Added Value for PokerStars' 25th Anniversary
To coincide with the launch of the updated Bronze Pass and celebrate PokerStars’ 25th anniversary, PokerStars has introduced a limited-time promotion offering 25% added value on select Bronze Passes.
The first version of the offer will come in the form of a ticket bundle for the PokerStars Anniversary Series, which replaces the usual Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) schedule this year as part of the anniversary celebrations.
The $530 Bronze Pass bundle includes tickets for the Anniversary Series, along with additional value in the form of a $109 Spade Pass and $23.50 in tournament dollars.
PokerStars has confirmed that the 25% added value promotion will run throughout the summer, with further Bronze Pass bundles expected to be released over the coming weeks.
