The series began on July 19 and continues until August 30. By the time the final event crowns its champion, WPT Global will have awarded ¥200 million ($30 million) and 13 coveted WPT Rings.
The series' Main Event bursts into action at 12:05 p.m. UTC on August 30. It commands a ¥660 ($99) buy-in and boasts a ¥2,500,000 ($375,000) prize pool guarantee. Whoever comes out on top will walk away with at least ¥500,000 ($75,000), a WPT Ring, and the title of WPT Asia Series Overdrive champion.
