Texas Card House Gears Up for Trailblazer Poker Tour Return, WSOP Circuit Series
Texas Card House is about to embark on one of the poker club's biggest and busiest months ever.
The biggest live poker brand in Texas will host its signature Trailblazer Poker Tour and a second World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) series during the month of September. Tournament poker is booming in the Longhorn State, nowhere more prevalent than at TCH's six statewide locations.
Trailblazer Poker Tour action kicks off Aug. 25 with the first of five Season III stops across the state, all at TCH clubs (Dallas, Las Colinas, Spring, Houston, and Austin). Each stop will offer a full series of tournaments, satellites, and a Main Event. Players can accumulate Trailblazer of the Year points at all stops, and those who rack up the most points throughout the year will win cash prizes from a $125,000 prize pool.
"Texas Card House has spent more than a decade building one of the most reputable and electrifying poker communities in the world," said Texas Card House CEO Ryan Crow.
"Trailblazer started as a bet that Texas players deserved a real tour of their own, and three seasons in, they've proven it. Season III is the biggest one yet. And to open it and then host the WSOP Circuit again — only the second WSOP event in Texas history — tells you everything about where Texas poker is headed. This is no longer the future of the game. It's the present."
The first stop will be from Aug. 28 to Sept. 8 at TCH's locations in Dallas and nearby Las Colinas. There will be $1.2 million in guarantees on the schedule. Stop two will be at the same locations from Oct. 8-19, followed by a series in Spring (Oct. 27 to Nov. 9), before the Houston festival (Dec. 26 to Jan. 11) and Austin series (Feb. 10 to 22) close out the season.
WSOP Circuit Returns to TCH Social
TCH Social in Austin hosted the first-ever WSOP Circuit series in Texas earlier this year. The series was a rousing success, with over $7 million in prize money awarded, most in Texas poker history.
It wasn't a one-off. The WSOP Circuit will return to TCH Social on Sept. 10 for 12 days of poker action. The series features 18 ring events through Sept. 21, including the $1,700 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event, a $2 million guaranteed tournament starting Sept. 17.
TCH Social, a 70-table membership-based social club, will begin its second WSOP Circuit festival with a $400 NLH The Lone Star ring event with $100,000 guaranteed. A $750,000 guaranteed Mini Main Event for $600 starting Sept. 10 is among the major events on the schedule.
